I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the  Department of Economics, Philosophy, and Political Science at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus.

My research focuses on the intersection of Health Economics, Labour Economics, Applied Microeconomics, and Econometrics, with a particular emphasis on the well-being of vulnerable populations in Canada, as well as the economics of cancer and social policy. In addition to my research, I have extensive experience teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in Microeconomics, Health Economics, Labour Economics Econometrics, Healthcare Finance, and Statistics. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics in 2019 and held a postdoctoral research fellowship position at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Canada. I am also an adjunct professor at the School of Health Administration, Dalhousie University.

I am passionate about using economic methods to inform policies that can improve the well-being of vulnerable populations and am actively seeking collaborations with researchers in this field.
