This project is a "low cost intelligent automation" (LCIA) focus on create a method help saving labor force, increase efficient of a certain production stage in a factory with small investment in time and money.
As you can see, a man is operating a stamping machine that used to cut PE form follow a knife mold shape. And every time machine stamping down, worker have to move the table out to move the position of the knife, push back in for the machine to stamp down again and keep going like that. As research the worker have to move in, out the table average 200 time a day. It very wastes labor force in moving the table like that.
What if we can apply a pneumatic cylinder to moving the table instead of worker?
Yes, worker will only in charge of changing position of the knife mold and control cylinder to move the table.
Two cylinder will fixed on the side of the machine. Head of the cylinder rod fixed with the outer edge of the table. Apply directional valve to control both cylinder, move in the table when worker press the button and interfere with the machine signal when it just stamping down, delay 5s then auto move out the table.
Worker's work efficiency before improvement: 70%.
Worker's work efficiency improved due to saving energy: 75%.
Equivalent if the efficiency of 70% can produce 1000 products then the efficiency of 75% can produce 1071 products.
Time saved: 5.76s.
Machine assistance reduces operation time by 1s per knife run.
Estimated input cost: 4 500 000 VND/piece.
