Welcome to my site! I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Economics at Syracuse University. I am also working on the part-time Online M.S. in Analytics program at Georgia Tech. Before Syracuse, I received my M.S. in Economics degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my Bachelor of Economics degree from Jilin University.
My research interests lie in theoretical and applied econometrics. Specifically, my theoretical work modified the classic cluster robust variance estimator in the presence of extremely unbalanced panel data; my empirical work uses the causal machine learning methods to capture the heterogeneity causal effect of job loss on people's mental health.
