Information Session

10:00 am - 10:30 am

Join us for a brief overview of Mines and our SWE chapter!

The session will conclude by 10:30 am, ensuring you'll have ample time to ask questions and for a SWE member to accompany you to your first class.

Class Shadowing

11:00 am - 11:50 am or 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

As a SWE Shadow, you'll have the opportunity to sit in on a Mines class alongside your SWE host. It will provide a firsthand glimpse of what a typical course at Mines is like.

To select which class you'd like to attend, simply visit the Hosts page to view available classes and confirm your host's avaliability on your preferred date.

SWE Meeting

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The SWE weekly meeting offers a free lunch during your visit to Mines. It also gives you the chance to either listen to a professional development speaker and/or connect with more SWE members.

Your SWE host will accompany you to the meeting, ensuring you find the location and have someone to sit with throughout the session.

The meeting takes place every Wednesday from 12:00 - 12:50 PM.

Coffee with a SWE Host

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

This opportunity allows you to have a one-on-one conversation with a SWE host, where you can ask any questions you may have about SWE, Mines, or college life in general.

You'll enjoy coffee from the on-campus coffee shop, courtesy of SWE.

Virtual Schedule Meeting Options and Timeline:

Choose 3 Hosts you would like to meet with based on their availability. Once connected, you will work with your host to schedule a time to meet throughout the available weeks. Bring questions or topics about life at Mines, class or major experience, or more information about SWE, and our Hosts will give their perspective and connect you with resources at Mines.
