Good Afternoon PreK-2 Families,

We have been so impressed with our little ones! They are participating and working hard each day and continue to keep their neurons buzzing!

We as parents want to support our children and their learning and of course it’s always appreciated. However, during class time, we ask that you allow your child to learn with their classmates and teacher independently as much as possible. We encourage students to respond on their own to their teacher’s questions and with their school work.

Especially as we continue to issue badges (PreK, K and 1), it is important that teachers get an understanding of what students know and can do on their own. That way we can plan different ways to support and challenge them!

Remember, if your child is not responding or does not yet know something, it’s OK. Their teacher will encourage them and work with them. Please try not speak for your child or coach them on what to say. We want the children to grow at their own pace. Teachers support this in various ways during class time. Please allow them to do so.
