Over the last couple of days I made a terraria resource pack that adds Jardon's minecraft skin by replacing the mushroom vanity set with a custom sprite. I hope you like it. I hope he tries it.(Also I have plans to update it - make the royal delight to a Jerry summon, maybe add a couple of custom paintings, we'll see)

There are some old (and not so old) mods that can't find skins anymore, like the statues mod and super old singleplayercommands for beta 1.7.3. These both have worked before but not anymore. Just wondering why this is and is there a fix?

They shut down the legacy skin server used by all versions prior to 1.7.6, when they added the current UUID-based skin/name system, a couple months ago:

WEB-985 skins.minecraft.net is responding with 404 for all skins

The only way to fix this is to recode the mods to use the new skin server (you can use a resource/texture pack to change the default skin but that will make all skins yours), which also means that the game will need to be modified to use UUIDs instead of usernames (at least for this part). Of course, that will likely never happen since the mods were abandoned years ago; even 1.7.10 (the most popular modded version by far) is falling out of favor (after all, even 1.7.10 is four years old; 1.6.4 is all but extinct as even a major mod I still update for it is all but unknown - even those mod-stealing websites have ignored it).
