When you log into a server, you get connected with other people logged into that same server, allowing everyone to play together. However, there are many different types of servers and each type has its own uses. For example, some servers use a modified version of Minecraft which makes them more challenging or competitive. Other servers have plug-ins which add new features such as magic or flying so as not to ruin gameplay balance by giving certain players advantages over others. Some servers are even coded from scratch meaning they look completely different from regular Minecraft and have entirely new rules! I've been hosting various Minecraft servers for different games locally, and Dockerized everything using itzg/minecraft-server with Docker Compose and have enjoyed how simple it is to spin up and down. I plan to use the Docker plugin for UnRAID to host my servers. Eventually, I plan to set up my DNS and port forwarding to allow friends to play on servers via whitelist policy.

However, this will be my first time hosting multiple servers, some of which are modded, for us and friends. I'd like to standardize domains by having minecraft.exmaple.com/vanilla or minecraft.example.com/pixelmon or minecraft.example.com/vanilla_some_version. I'm aware Nginx won't work for this use case, and I've researched options like Bungeecord, but I haven't seen anything that explicitly says I can have a centralized minecraft.example.com/ pattern. Does anyone know of a Dockerized solution for this, and what configs they used? Push comes to shove, I can just make more subdomains in my DNS, but I'd like some consistency if possible.

Even more curious, while I was toggling various Orbi settings and applying them, if I tried the Minecraft featured servers at just the right time during the minute or so when the router was applying new settings, it would work. Just for a moment, though. Something going on during that settings refresh allows it to work, but by the time the router finishes applying the settings it's blocked again. But that also tells me it's the router, not my ISP.

I have been a long term linux user but i play minecraft with my friends in servers like pika or herobrine but when i am in any arch based distro i can never connect to it and i can never join but the weird things are that i can join personal servers like which my friend host using aternos etc........ my java seems to be working fine but not sure and i think its with my wifi related issues because the worst thing is if i go to a debian based distro i can always play those servers which i cant in arch, but in arch my either my wifi or my java both strongly i think hinders me playing minecraft.......it might be either the java, cause i have no issues with debian java or my wifi drivers or some sorts also i am using cracked minecraft like tlauncher so i would love some real working help to fix this.

i have installed the java like the other person told java 8 and java 11 and i have installed the tlauncher from the aur but still the servers are not getting connected...its so worse i cant join it and i know this is a just arch issue because in debina based distros i can always play in the same servers so any fix like changing any drivers or java or something....i am happy to suggestion cause i know all the people here are smart

i think i might found something.....when i try to join normally i cant but i just installed a vpn then i tried to join and voila the servers are pinged and they are available to me but using a vpn always is not a solution because it massively decreases my internet but also in debian based distro i dont need a vpn so is it just with arch and its wifi configurations...if so pls help to fix it....

I am asking whether you can reproduce this *now* if used to is a few months ago then that means absolutely nothing at all, if the servers block IPs from dubai for whatever reason then you might be stuck with that regardless of which OS you're using. Check/post the outputs shard asks for so we have something more tangible.

sorry i was gone for a few days....here is the info after ip a and i wont show my ip 6 and 4 but if there is any information in the command it is there ....also what can be possibly there in the ip a command .....also my other services work...so pls my friends without asking for the ip...is there a way to fix it...i really wanted it fixed but its been a long time and i havent been able to play with my friends.....also i did say i can play servers made by my friends but not pika so what is something diffrent in arch which is needed in servers like pika and herobrine.... this is the link....

When users want to connect to a non-default port in minecraft, they have to specify www.server2.example.com:25566 to connect to the server. On the default port, this is not needed, they can simply connect via www.server1.example.com.

'_minecraft' is just a symbolic name, 'sub' is the name of your subdomain, for example it could be '_tcp.dev' if your subdomain was dev.example.com. Once the subdomain and the SRV are linked, it should work, providing you have the correct port entered and forwarded. ff782bc1db
