Welcome to MindPark! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information of our users. MindPark is an app designed to assess and train cognitive performance in children through engaging and interactive activities. Parents are required to create an account and login to allow child to perform activities within the app. Our privacy policy is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other relevant laws. By using MindPark, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.  

Information We Collect 

We only collect Personal Information to the extent that is reasonably necessary for one or more of our functions or activities. This includes the following types of information:

• When parents create an account, we collect your email address and password to enable you to log in and secure your account.

• When parents choose to log in using your Google account, we collect your Google account information, such as your email address, through the Google login service.

• During registration of Child by their parents to use the app, we also collect child’s full name, age and gender. This information helps us personalize the app experience and provide accurate insights.

• Performance Data: When children use our programs, we record actions children have taken in our programs, including but not limited to what buttons they clicked; events that occur, for example when they start a training exercise; and their usage, progress, and performance data.

How We Use Your Information

• Account Management: To create and manage your account, and to authenticate your identity when you log in.

• Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the app's features, user experience, and content.

• Personalized Insights: To store the user data across various categories of cognitive and emotional quotient tasks and  to gain insights into cognitive weaknesses and strengths of the user. Such insights are generated in the form of graphs and charts and helps us to tailor training regimens for the user. 

Data Storage and Security

• Cloud Firestore: Your data is stored securely in Cloud Firestore, a cloud-based database service. We employ robust security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

• Encryption: All data is encrypted during transmission and storage to ensure the highest level of security.

• Access Control: Access to your personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only, and we implement strict access controls and procedures.

Data Retention and Deletion

MindPark retains account information, child profiles, questionnaire responses, game results, and progress information only while the user’s account remains active and as necessary to provide the app’s features.

Users can delete their account through the Profile section of the MindPark app or request deletion through our account-deletion webpage/contact method.

When account deletion is completed, the user’s account and all associated personal data—including child profiles, questionnaire responses, game-performance data, and progress records—are permanently deleted from our active systems immediately. MindPark does not retain this user data after account deletion, except where retention is required by applicable law. Any legally required information is restricted to that purpose and deleted when no longer required.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Update: You have the right to access and update your personal information at any time through your account settings.

• Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us at mindpark.nepal@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

MindPark is designed for young children, and we take special precautions to protect their privacy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the app after any modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
