Mind Mystery ("the app") is a mentalism and entertainment performance tool. It includes features such as Number Revelation, Card Reading, Emotion Reading, Hidden Time, Secret Word, Mental Notes, Forcing routines (ChronoStop and CardStop), Calculator Pro, and related performance aids. All effects are illusion-based entertainment for performance purposes only; the app does not provide genuine psychic, supernatural, or paranormal abilities. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the app. We do not sell your personal data. By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

Mind Mystery is designed to respect your privacy. No registration or account creation is required to use the application.

2. Information We Collect

The app stores minimal data locally on your device only:

1. Your preference for showing or hiding instructions and guide buttons inside each act.

2. Whether you have completed your first use of the Hidden Time act.

3. Whether we have already shown you a rating prompt.

4. Your favourite acts shortcut list.

5. The app version for which you last viewed the What's New screen.

6. Mental Notes settings (such as Type/Draw mode and peek preferences) and Mental Notes session content (typed text and drawing data) while you use that feature.

7. ChronoStop and CardStop performance settings (such as prepared force values).

8. Calculator Pro settings, force presets, workflows, and a short local peek history used during performance.

9. Optional one-time UI prompts (for example a community invite).

Mental Notes and Calculator Pro content and settings are stored only on your device, are not uploaded to our servers, and can be cleared from within the app or by clearing app data. If you make an in-app purchase (Secret Word, Mental Notes, CardStop, or Calculator Pro), the purchase unlock flag is stored locally using encrypted storage where supported. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.

3. Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

The app may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a Google service, to deliver optional push notifications such as updates, tips, and announcements. To send notifications, Google/Firebase may process a device push token and related delivery metadata. Notification permission is requested on supported Android versions; you can deny or later revoke it in system settings. We do not use FCM to collect performance content, Mental Notes text/drawings, Calculator Pro peek values, or payment details. Firebase's processing is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can stop receiving notifications by disabling notification permission for the app or by uninstalling the app.

4. Audio Instructions and Calculator Pro Audio

Some instruction and paywall screens offer an optional audio guide that reads text aloud using your device's built-in Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine. Calculator Pro may also use local TTS (for example earbud whisper/readout modes) to speak digits or peeked values during a performance. Speech is generated and played locally on your device. We do not record, transmit, or store audio, voice data, or the text being read on our servers. TTS processing is handled by your device operating system and any voice packs you have installed. If a selected language voice is unavailable, the app may fall back to English. You can stop playback at any time from the available controls.

5. Ratings on Google Play

The app may invite you to rate Mind Mystery on Google Play. Tapping Rate Us opens the app's Google Play listing. Any rating or review you submit is processed and stored by Google Play, not by us. Submission is entirely voluntary. Google Play's privacy policy governs any data you submit on their platform.

6. In-App Purchases

In-app purchases (Secret Word, Mental Notes, CardStop, and Calculator Pro) are separate one-time purchases processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. The purchase unlock state is saved locally on your device. Restore of purchases follows the standard Google Play restore flow. Each purchase unlocks digital in-app content only; no physical goods are sold. Promotional prices shown in the app (such as launch offers) are for reference; the final price charged is always shown by Google Play at checkout and may vary by region, currency, or active store offers.

7. Internet and Network Use

The app may use an internet connection to:

1. Load and cache fonts for display.

2. Launch external links (e.g., the Magic Shop, social media, WhatsApp community invites, or the Google Play store page).

3. Communicate with Google Play Billing for purchases and restore.

4. Communicate with Firebase Cloud Messaging for optional push notifications.

External links open in your browser or another app and are governed by the privacy policies of those services. The app only launches secure HTTPS links or standard email links for user-initiated actions.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The app may link to or rely on external websites and services (e.g., the Magic Shop, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, Google Play, and Firebase/Google for messaging and billing infrastructure). Those sites and apps have their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site or service you visit after leaving the app.

9. Third-Party Names and Trademarks

The app may refer to or list names of persons, brands, or products for identification purposes only. All trademarks and names are the property of their respective owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied. See Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored on your device is kept until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data (Android: Settings → Apps → Mind Mystery → Storage → Clear data). Local Calculator Pro peek history and Mental Notes session content can also be cleared from within the app where those controls are provided. We do not retain Mental Notes content, Calculator Pro presets, or peek history on our servers.

11. Security

We do not store your performance content on our servers. Local preferences and purchase unlock flags are stored on your device, using encrypted storage where available. No mobile app can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the security of your device, especially when spectators interact with it during a performance.

12. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for general audiences as an entertainment and performance tool. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

13. Your Rights and Choices

You can adjust your in-app preferences at any time from the Settings screen, revoke notification permission in system settings, and uninstall the app or clear app data to remove locally stored data. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights (e.g. GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may contact us to exercise those rights.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

16. Google Play Distribution

This app is distributed via Google Play. The privacy practices described in this policy apply to the app regardless of where it is downloaded.
