This privacy policy applies to the MindMemoBox app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by EssentialSportApps (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application is designed to function primarily as a local productivity tool.
User-Generated Content
The Application allows you to create and store memos, notes, and categories. This data is stored locally on your device. The Service Provider never receives your individual memos or any other user-generated content.
Cloud Backup (Android Auto Backup)
The Application utilizes Android's built-in "Auto Backup" feature. If you have backup enabled on your Android device, a copy of the Application's local data (including your memos) may be automatically uploaded to your private Google Drive account. This data is encrypted and managed by Google, and the Service Provider (Developer) does not have access to this backed-up data. You can manage or disable this feature in your device's system settings.
Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Specifically, the Application incorporates Google AdMob for displaying advertisements.
These third-party providers may collect certain information, including but not limited to:
Device identifiers (e.g., AD-ID)
IP address
Analytics data regarding ad interaction

Google Play Services
AdMob
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
The Application does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the Application may use third-party code and libraries (like AdMob) that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services.
Since all your individual memos and data are stored locally on your device, the Service Provider does not "retain" or have access to any of your personal data on external servers. The only exception is the optional "AI Generator" feature, which transiently transmits user-selected images to Google Cloud strictly for real-time processing, without permanently storing them (see the "AI Image Processing" section below for details). Your data remains on your device as long as the Application is installed. You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time by clearing the Application's data or uninstalling the Application.
The application features an "AI Generator" that allows users to automatically extract memos and flashcards from photos or images.
When you choose to use this feature, the images you select from your gallery or capture via the camera are securely transmitted to Google Cloud servers to be processed by Google's Generative AI services (Gemini).
Purpose of Processing: The uploaded images are processed transiently for the sole purpose of analyzing the content, extracting text, and generating the memos on your behalf.
Data Retention and Usage: We do not store your images on our servers. Furthermore, the images transmitted to Google Cloud are processed ephemerally and are not permanently stored by Google. As per Google Cloud Enterprise API terms of service, your data and images are strictly confidential and are never used by Google to train their public artificial intelligence models.
User Consent and Control: This AI processing feature is entirely optional and is only triggered when you actively decide to generate memos from images. If you do not wish to transmit images to external servers, you can continue using the application by creating your memos manually.
The Application does not collect any personally identifiable information from users, including children under 13 years of age. Since all memo data is stored locally on the user's device and any optional AI processing is fully automated without Developer access, the Service Provider (Developer) has no access to this information. If you are a parent or guardian and you are concerned about any data stored within the Application on your child's device, you can delete that data by clearing the Application's data or uninstalling the Application from the device.
The security of your information is important to us. Since your data is stored locally on your mobile device, the Service Provider does not receive, store, or manually process your personal memos. Any data transmitted for the optional AI Generator feature is processed ephemerally using industry-standard encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is never stored on external servers. The overall security of your data depends on the device's built-in security features (such as file system encryption and screen locks).
The Application requires access to your device's microphone (RECORD_AUDIO permission) to enable voice commands and text dictation features. We are committed to protecting your privacy regarding how this data is handled:
Voice Commands (Offline Processing): When you use voice commands to navigate or control the app, your voice data is processed entirely locally and offline on your device. We do not transmit, collect, store, or share this audio data with our servers or any third-party servers.
Text Dictation (Online Processing): When you use the voice-to-text dictation feature to write memos, the app utilizes your device's built-in, default speech recognition service (such as Google Speech Services). Audio recorded during this specific dictation process may be sent to the provider of this service (e.g., Google) for transcription purposes, in accordance with your device's settings and the respective provider's privacy policy.
Please note that we, as the developers of this app, do not collect, store, or have access to any of your voice recordings or transcriptions on our own servers at any time.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
