Thanks for visiting Mindful Path K9 - I can't wait to support you and your dog's journey.
Rooted in calm, built on trust.
I started Mindful Path K9 to offer a different kind of dog walking and training experience, one that prioritizes the individual needs of each dog, values calm leadership, and builds skills & wellness through consistency.
As someone with a deep respect for the canine species, I focus on providing both structure and freedom: loose-leash training, enrichment, and space to just be a dog. I have K9 First Aid certification, and I take every dog’s safety and emotional well-being seriously.
My dog Bear is often by my side, helping to gently socialize puppies or support anxious dogs with her calm presence.
Whether you're a new dog owner or just looking for a more mindful approach, I’d love to help support your dog’s journey one walk at a time.
As Mindful Path K9 builds a relationship with these lands and waters, we acknowledge that we live, work and walk with our canine companions on the unceded, ancestral territories of the Quw'utsun Peoples, whose lands include the Cowichan Valley. We also respectfully recognize the neighbouring Hul'qumi'num Treaty Group, the Ts'uubaa-asatx Nation, and the Malahat Peoples. Our commitment here is to care for the land and waters by living gently; walking softly, conserving water and energy, and keeping these lands clean. We pledge to extend this spirit of care and non-harm to the dogs and people of this community, learning how to be a respectful guest and a helpful steward in this beautiful valley.
