Mindful Equine embraces collaboration over competition and we are pleased to be growing our program in concert with other top equine professionals across Colorado state.
We are thrilled to be working in collaboration with Jennifer Kallam at JK Training in Longmont, CO! Jen learned to ride and began showing as a junior while growing up in Alaska. Her passion and competitive drive resulted in many successes in the show ring. She earned her Silver Medal in dressage and currently competes in the upper level hunters and jumpers.
Jen is passionate about professionals being certified and moved to England to work and train with former British Olympians Jane Bartle-Wilson and Christopher Bartle. She left the UK in 2005 with her British Horse Society Assistant Instructor (BHSAI) Certification and a wide breadth of knowledge and experience. Jen utilizes the European teaching techniques she acquired to develop her students' fundamental riding and horsemanship skills while providing a safe, quality experience for both horse and rider. In addition, she is a United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA)-certified trainer.
