If you want a wireless headset for call center work that prioritizes all-day battery life and deep bass immersion, choose MINDBEAST Earbuds Noise Cancellation; if you need a lightweight headphone for call center environments where voice clarity and ambient awareness are critical, choose Samsung Galaxy Buds2.
• MINDBEAST Earbuds Noise Cancellation: Offers an impressive 180-hour total battery life with strong noise isolation, but relies on passive sound isolation rather than active cancellation technology.
• Samsung Galaxy Buds2: Features true Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and three microphones for superior voice pickup, yet offers significantly shorter total playtime compared to the competition.
• Who picks MINDBEAST: The budget-conscious user who needs ear phones for call center shifts or long travel sessions without needing to charge constantly.
• Who picks Samsung: The professional seeking premium audio fidelity, seamless integration with Android devices, and a design that disappears in your ear during long meetings.
The MINDBEAST T98 is built for endurance. When you look at the specifications, the most striking feature is the sheer longevity of the power source. The earbuds themselves provide up to six hours of continuous playback, which is already solid for a standard shift, but the real magic happens with the charging case. This case holds enough power to deliver five additional full charges. That brings the total listening time to an astounding 180 hours. For someone working as a wireless headset for call center operations, this is a game-changer. You can go weeks without hunting for a wall outlet. The design philosophy here is clearly about utility and stamina over ultra-minimalist aesthetics.
In terms of audio performance, these buds aim for an immersive experience. They utilize a dynamic driver with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20KHz, which covers the full spectrum of human hearing. The marketing emphasizes "deep bass" and "immersive sound," suggesting they are tuned for listeners who enjoy music with a punchy low end. The noise control mechanism is described as "Sound Isolation." While this isn't active electronic cancellation, the physical seal provided by the three included ear tip sizes creates a barrier against external noise. For many users, especially those in busy offices or transit hubs, a tight physical seal can block out a significant amount of background chatter and hum, effectively creating a quiet zone without the battery drain associated with active electronics.

Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.1, offering a stable wireless range of up to 10 meters. The touch controls allow you to manage calls and music effortlessly, including access to voice assistants like Google, Alexa, and Siri. The unit weighs 3.84 ounces in total, which includes the case, making it portable but perhaps slightly bulkier than some ultralight competitors. The IPX5 waterproof rating adds another layer of practicality, meaning these headphones for call center use or gym sessions can handle sweat and light rain without issue. If your primary concern is getting through a long day of talking and listening without ever thinking about the battery icon, the MINDBEAST T98 is a serious contender. However, you must be comfortable with a product that focuses on isolation rather than active noise processing.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 takes a different approach, prioritizing comfort and intelligent audio processing over raw battery duration. These earbuds are designed to be unobtrusive, boasting a profile that is 10% smaller and lighter than their predecessors. Weighing just 5 grams per earbud, they are among the lightest options on the market. This low-profile design ensures that you might forget you are wearing them entirely, which is crucial for anyone who wears headphones for eight hours straight. The material is plastic, finished in Graphite, giving them a sleek, modern look that fits well in professional settings.
Where the MINDBEAST focuses on isolation, the Galaxy Buds2 focuses on intelligence. They feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a technology that uses microphones to detect external sounds and generates opposing waves to cancel them out electronically. This is distinct from the passive sound isolation found in the MINDBEAST model. Furthermore, the Buds2 include a Low Latency Ambient Sound mode. This allows you to hear the world around you when necessary, such as when a manager approaches your desk or when you need to communicate quickly without removing the earbuds. For a wireless headset for call center work, this flexibility is invaluable; you can switch between blocking out office noise and hearing your surroundings instantly.
Audio quality is driven by a dual-driver system (though the sheet specifies a dynamic driver type with 16 ohm impedance) and a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, ensuring clear highs and rich lows. The standout feature for professionals, however, is the microphone array. With three microphones and dedicated noise reduction technology, the Buds2 are engineered to transmit your voice crisply. Whether you are leading a high-stakes conference call or chatting with a client, the system is designed to filter out background noise so only your voice comes through. The battery life is respectable but more modest, offering 7.5 hours on a single charge and an additional 20 hours from the case, totaling 27.5 hours. While this is less than the MINDBEAST, it still supports a full workday. If you value voice clarity, adaptive sound modes, and a featherlight fit, the Samsung option is the logical choice.

The ability to distinguish my voice from background noise using the three-microphone setup is non-negotiable for professional communication. While the MINDBEAST offers incredible battery life, the risk of sounding muffled or distant in a noisy office outweighs the benefit of not charging for two weeks. In my opinion, the Active Noise Cancellation and Ambient Sound mode on the Samsung provide the professional polish needed for high-stakes calls. However, if your priority is simply having a reliable, cheap backup pair that lasts forever on a single charge, the MINDBEAST is a worthy alternative.

No, the MINDBEAST T98 utilizes sound isolation and passive noise blocking through a secure fit rather than electronic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
