Mind the Gap 2026
Mind the Gap 2026
The workshop is dedicated to presenting recent advances in quantum mathematics and addressing structural gaps within the research community, particularly between early-career and senior researchers. The workshop will pay special attention to the experiences and visibility of women in the field while fostering a broader discussion on inclusion, mentorship, and career development.
Funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) through TRR 352, the workshop will bring together leading experts and junior researchers to strengthen connections across career stages and promote a more inclusive and vibrant quantum mathematics community. The workshop aims to:
• promote collaboration, visibility, mentorship, and career development across different career stages;
• Provide a platform for networking, scientific exchange.
• Facilitate interactions between established and early-career researchers to help bridge generational gaps.
• Highlight and support the contributions of women active in quantum and many-body mathematics.
List of invited speakers includes:
Christian Brennecke (University of Bonn)
Lucrezia Cossetti (UPV/EHU Bilbao)
