Mind Jar ("we", "our", or "the app") is a private digital mind jar application designed with privacy as its core principle. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

All your echoes (text, voice, photos) are stored only on your device.
No data is ever transmitted to external servers.
No analytics or tracking of any kind.
No user accounts or registration required.
No third-party services that access your data.
Mind Jar requests the following permissions, which are used only for local functionality:
Camera
Capture photo memories (stored locally only)
Microphone
Record voice memories (stored locally only)
Photo Library
Access and save photos (stored locally only)
Biometrics
Secure app access with Face ID / Fingerprint
Motion Sensors
Animate the echoes in the jar based on device movement
Notifications
Remind you when Time Capsule echoes unlock
The only external service used is:
In-App Purchases: Managed entirely by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for payment processing. We do not receive or store your financial information.
Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for maintaining backups. We are not responsible for any kind of data loss, also resulting from lost devices, damaged devices, or app uninstallation.
