Welcome to my homepage.
My name is Minchul Kim (김민철).
I am an Assistant Professor and a neuroradiologist at the Department of Radiology, Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine in Seoul, Republic of Korea. (https://main.kbsmc.co.kr/main/doctor/view.do?md_idx=265&mp_idx=18&mc_idx= )
I completed my Ph.D. in Engineering at KAIST Graduate School of Medical Science and Engineering under the supervision of Professor Bumseok Jeong (https://drshrink.github.io/).
My recent research focuses on maximizing the potential of clinically feasible 3D T1-weighted imaging while defining its limitations. I aim to understand what these images can reveal about an individual and identify which meaningful biomarkers can be extracted reliably and robustly.
I am also a collaborating researcher with the AICON Lab (https://sites.google.com/view/snuhradaicon/research-team/collaborators) and the Yoo Lab. (https://sites.google.com/view/yooklab).
