Riders: Individuals who seek or receive transportation, including those who receive transportation that has been requested by another individual, are referred to as riders.
Driver: Individuals who provide Riders with transportation either directly or through partner transportation services
This notice also applies to Minaida's other data gathering practices in conjunction with its services. For example, we will collect contact information from individuals who use Minaida, owners of vehicles or other merchants; personal data from those who begin but do not complete applications to be drivers or riders, or other personal data in connection with our mapping technology and features.
For users in Liberia: Minaida processes personal data of users in Liberia for the purposes of Minaida or third parties' legitimate interests. Minaida handles such personal data because it is required to meet our duties to users under our Terms of Service or other agreements with them, or because users have given their consent.
For Guest Users: Personal data of people who order or receive trips through the Minaida app (such as when ordering a ride), or organized by other account owners (collectively "Guest Users") is used strictly to offer such trips or other services requested through a third party, as well as for safety and security, customer support, research and development, facilitating communication between users, and in compliance with legal obligations. For these objectives, personal information of Guest Users may be shared with third parties. This information might be linked to the account's owner and accessed by them. This applies to Guest Users who are given rides or deliveries by the proprietors of the business.

Minaida collects personal data:
provided by users to Minaida, such as during account creation
created during use of our services, such as location, app usage, and device data
from other sources, such as other users or account owners, business partners, insurance and financial solution providers, and governmental authorities
Data provided by users. This includes:
User profile: When users establish or update their Minaida accounts, we gather information. Their name, email, phone number, login name and password, address, profile picture, mobile money payment or banking information (including associated payment verification information), driver's license, and other government identity papers may all be included (which may indicate document numbers as well as birth date, gender, and photo). This includes driver personal car or insurance details, emergency contact information, user settings, and proof of health or fitness to perform services utilizing Minaida applications.
We may use the photos submitted by users to verify their identities, such as through facial verification technologies
Background check and identity verification: We may collect information such as driving history or criminal record (where authorized by law), license status, known aliases and past and present addresses, and right to work in order to verify drivers' ability to offer services through the Minaida applications. An approved vendor on Minaida's behalf may gather this information.
We may also verify the identities of riders, or of walking buddy recipients who request drop off, including by collecting photographs of their government-issued identification.
Demographic data: User demographic data may be collected, for example, through user surveys. We may also obtain demographic data about users from third parties in some countries.
We can also infer demographic information from other information gathered from users. For example, we may deduce gender from a person's first name in order to enable features that allow women to be walking buddies or receive services from other women. In such circumstances.
User content: When customers contact Minaida customer service (including video conferencing technologies), offer ratings or compliments for other users, walking buddies, or merchants, or otherwise contact Minaida, we collect the information they provide. This might include user feedback, images, or other recordings, as well as audio or video recordings (such as dash cam recordings) supplied by users in conjunction with customer service. This includes information on the communication channel you use with Minaida.
Travel information: Users of our Minaida Travel service provide us with travel itinerary information, such as the times and dates of planned trips, accommodation, or vehicle rental arrangements. We gather the following data: when users manually enter their information into an Minaida Travel schedule; or via travel-related email confirmations, provided users have given us permission to access their Gmail accounts. If given permission, Minaida will only utilize users' Gmail accounts to gather trip itinerary information in order to activate the Minaida Travel feature, and will follow Google's API Services User Data Policy, which includes restrictions on how data received from users' Gmail accounts can be used.
Data created during use of our services. This includes:
Location data (driver and walking buddy): We gather precise or approximate location data from drivers and walking buddies for a variety of reasons, including to enable rides and drop off, to enable ride/walking tracking and safety features, to prevent and detect fraud, and to comply with regulatory obligations. When the Minaida app is operating in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen) on their mobile device, Minaida receives this information.
Location data (rider and walking buddy): We gather precise or approximate location data from riders and walking buddies to enable and improve the usage of our applications, such as to improve pick-ups, ease drop offs, enable safety features, and prevent and detect fraud. If users' mobile devices allow it, we acquire such information from them. (For details on how riders and delivery receivers can permit location data gathering, Minaida collects this information from the time a ride or delivery is requested until it is completed (and may indicate this collection via an icon or notification on your mobile device depending on your device's operating system), as well as any time the app is open and on-screen on their mobile device.
The Minaida applications may be used by riders and delivery receivers without allowing Minaida to gather precise location data from their mobile devices. However, this may have an impact on Minaida app functionality. A user who has not enabled location data collection, for example, will be required to manually input their pick-up address. Furthermore, even if the rider has not authorized location data collection from their device, the location data acquired from a driver during a journey will be connected to the rider's account for receipt creation, customer service, fraud detection, insurance, and litigation reasons.

For example, we make it possible for drivers and passengers, as well as delivery people and receivers, to call, text, or transmit files to one another (generally without disclosing their telephone numbers to each other). Safety recordings: Users can record audio and/or video of their excursions using an in-app function or a dashcam in some areas and where authorized by law.
