Each individual cell will be filled with honey and capped when the time is right.

The worker bees decide the gender of the honey bee based on the size of the cell created. The queen merely lays the egg. It's the workers who designate what kind of bee will emerge from the cell, whether worker, drone or queen bee.
In this image we see capped drone cells on the left side (rounder, raised cappings) and worker cells on the right side (flatter, more uniform cappings).

Butterflies, bees, flies, and even hummingbirds play an integral part in pollination. The act of pollinating enables the plants to produce seeds, fruits and the next generation of plants 1. According to the U.S. Forest Service, "more than 150 food crops in the U.S. depend on pollinators, including almost all fruit and grain crops."
