Veronica Lainez
Our licensed home child care is led by Veronica Lainez, a child care provider with over 17 years of experience working as a nanny and a doula for individual families. At 22, she came to the United States, where she has dedicated her life to providing child care for many families throughout the years. She is a mother of three, with children ages 4, 10, and 20. She now wants to use her experience to create a learning environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace.
Philosophy
Mimi's Playhouse is a Spanish immersion, play-based program that will feel like a child's second home. We believe every child grows at a different rhythm. Our goal is for each child to feel comfortable exploring and learning through play, while we listen and document our observations. We strive to reflect on developmentally appropriate ways to help children expand their academic and social potentials. It is important to us that the children's opinions are being heard and considered. We emphasize group work and collaboration in order to encourage children to respect each other and create community. We cater to each child's unique needs and hope to foster a loving and safe learning environment.

COVID Safety
Our staff is fully vaccinated and boosted, gets tested every two weeks, and adheres to a COVID-safe lifestyle. We ask that families communicate with the program and keep their children home if they feel sick. We hope to minimize transmission by following these protocols and encourage families to do the same.
