All AI processing — including text generation, multimodal reasoning, and optional data source use — is performed locally on your device.

• No information is uploaded to any server.

• No third‑party AI service receives your data.

• The app has no backend, no remote processing, and no telemetry.

• Model downloads are user‑initiated and retrieved from public model files (e.g., Hugging Face).

Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it outside the app.

3. Optional Permissions (User‑Initiated Only)

Certain features require access to system resources. These are optional, and permissions are requested only when you use a feature that needs them.

Contacts (Optional)

Accessed only if you request AI assistance involving your contacts.
Data remains entirely on your device.

Calendar (Optional)

Used only when you trigger a calendar‑related action.
No information is transmitted externally.

Files (Optional)

You may choose files through the iOS document picker.
MimiAI cannot access any file until you explicitly select it.

MimiAI shows a brief explanation before the system permission request using Apple‑approved button labels such as “Continue” or “Next”, without forcing users to enable permissions.

• External servers or cloud systems

• Advertising networks

• Analytics platforms
