Over the course of the semester, I collaborated with three of my classmates to research and propose a community garden in a baltimore neighborhood lacking access to fresh produce. We Incorportated ecological design principles to increase the resilience of the area.
Over the course of the semester, I collaborated with three of my classmates to research and propose a community garden in a baltimore neighborhood lacking access to fresh produce. We Incorportated ecological design principles to increase the resilience of the area.
My role consisted of calculating food production of the community garden, as well as the amount of produce waste from local restaurants that will be diverted from landfills. I was also responsible for determining appropriate materials and determining the total cost of the proposed project.
