The purpose of this paper is to conduct and test two types of metals at the Material Science Lab at San Francisco State University and how they differ compared to other tested metals.
Designed, tested, and analyzed the stress strain of various steels and alloys
Impact test utilizing the Charpy test apparatus. Hardness test utilizing the Rockwell Hardness test apparatus

Designed and constructed a modified Etch-a-Sketch that prints known objects as well as a master following drawings

Modified a combustion chamber at San Francisco State University that was used to analyze fuel mixtures using propane and kerosene to measuring gas emissions with a gas analyzer.

Beam Bending Analysis

The purpose of this project is to measure the electrical output which is recorded by using an accelerator over a time period. With the collected data, Fourier analysis will be applied to find frequencies and magnitudes for which several materials will undergo failure.
Results show that typically a 30 Hz frequency can cause damage to aluminum and copper materials, regardless of a natural or forced frequency.
Modified and designed a method to measure the frequency of a beam made up of different materials monitored in LabView

Designed and constructed an alternative sous vide (water heater) that implements induction heating
Designed power supply system that delivers appropriate power to the PID, cooling, and water pump loop (voltage regulator write up can be found here*).
