This Privacy Policy explains how Milo.AI (“Milo.AI”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Milo.AI mobile application (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Milo.AI is a social / dating application intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.
We collect the following categories of information when you use the App:
1.1 Account & Identity Information
Phone number or email address (depending on sign-in method)
Name, age, date of birth, gender, city, and other profile details you choose to add
Login identifiers from social sign-in providers (e.g., Google, Facebook) such as name, email, profile photo (if you choose those sign-in methods)
1.2 Profile & User Content
Profile photos and other images you upload
Short videos / “reels”, status posts, captions, and any other content you share in the App
Bio, interests, languages, preferences, and other profile fields
Content you send in chats (messages, emojis, in-app reactions, etc.)
Any reports you submit (e.g., report a user/profile/content) and related information
1.3 Location Data
With your permission, we may collect:
Approximate and/or precise location to:
Show nearby users and distance
Power features like live map, “who crossed you”, and other location-based discovery
We may receive location periodically while you are using the App, and in some cases in the background (depending on your device settings and permissions) to keep distances and live map updated.
You can control location permissions in your device settings at any time.
1.4 Usage & Activity
Swipes, likes, super likes, rewinds, matches, profile views, favorites/shortlists
Reels and status activity (views, likes, comments, shares, reports)
Chats and messaging activity (who you chatted with, timestamps, read status)
Random talk / other connection features (e.g., time of call or session, duration, counterpart user ID; we do not record your calls unless explicitly stated in a separate feature)
In-app actions such as opening screens, tapping buttons, and other engagement events
1.5 Device & Log Data
Device model, operating system, app version, language, and time zone
IP address and network information
Advertising IDs / identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) for ads and attribution
Log data, crash reports, and performance diagnostics (via services such as Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics)
1.6 Payments & Purchases
If you make in-app purchases (for example: premium subscription, boosts, Super Likes, or other paid features):
We receive purchase tokens, order IDs, product details, and basic transaction status from Google Play Billing or similar stores.
We do not receive or store your full payment card number; this is handled by the store or payment provider.
1.7 Support & Communication
Messages and details you send to our support email or in-app feedback
Any additional information you voluntarily share when contacting us
We do not access your phone contacts, SMS messages, or call logs.
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
2.1 To provide core app features
Create and manage your account and profile
Show other users your basic profile information, photos, age, city / approximate distance, interests, and status/reels you choose to share
Show you other users based on your preferences and filters
Enable matches, chat, and connection features (including random talk/other match modes)
Provide location-based features such as nearby profiles, live map, and “who crossed you”
2.2 Safety, Security & Moderation
Allow you to block or report other users and enforce block lists
Detect and prevent spam, fraud, unauthorized access, or other misuse
Enforce our community guidelines (e.g., no nudity, no abuse or hate, no illegal content)
Review reported content and take appropriate action (such as warning, restricting, or removing accounts or content)
Use automated tools and limited manual review to detect possible unsafe content (for example, sexual content, nudity, harassment, or scams) in photos, videos, and text
2.3 Improvement & Analytics
Understand how the App is used (what works, what doesn’t)
Fix bugs, improve stability and performance
Test, develop, and roll out new features and design changes
Measure the effectiveness of features, campaigns, and user flows
2.4 Notifications & Communication
Send you notifications about matches, messages, likes, profile visitors, and other in-app events
Send important account alerts (e.g., login security, policy updates, account issues)
Occasionally inform you about new features or promotions (you can control notifications in your device/app settings)
2.5 Monetization & Advertising
If ads are enabled in the App, we use certain information to:
Show ads (e.g., via Google AdMob)
Limit repetitive ads and measure ad performance
Improve ad relevance using device/usage information and advertising identifiers (subject to your device or platform consent settings)
We do not sell your personal information.
Depending on your location, we may rely on different legal bases to process your information, including:
Your consent (for example, when you enable location, accept cookies/SDK tracking, or agree to receive certain notifications)
Contractual necessity to provide the service you requested (e.g., creating an account, enabling chat and matches)
Our legitimate interests (e.g., to secure our service, prevent abuse, improve the App, and support customer service), balanced against your privacy rights
Legal obligations (e.g., retaining certain records if required by law or responding to lawful requests)
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following limited ways:
4.1 Other Milo.AI Users
Information that is part of your public profile (for example: name, age, city/approximate distance, photos, bio, interests, online status, status posts, reels) will be visible to other users based on the App’s design and your use of the features.
Content you post (e.g., reels, statuses, profile updates) may be visible to other users according to the feature’s visibility rules.
4.2 Service Providers & Partners
We use trusted third-party providers to help us operate the App, for example:
Firebase / Google Cloud (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging)
Google Play Billing and similar store providers for purchases
Ad networks & attribution (e.g., Google AdMob) for ad delivery and analytics
Media hosting/streaming services (e.g., video/image CDNs such as Cloudflare Stream or similar) to deliver photos and videos quickly and reliably
Social login providers (e.g., Google, Facebook) when you choose to sign in via those platforms
These providers only process your information on our behalf and under contractual obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy.
4.3 Legal & Safety
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to:
Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request
Protect the rights, property, or safety of Milo.AI, our users, or the public
Enforce our Terms of Use, community guidelines, or agreements
Investigate or prevent suspected illegal activity, fraud, or security issues
4.4 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction as allowed by law. We will continue to protect your data and notify you of any material changes where required.
The App may request the following permissions on your device:
Location (Approximate / Precise / Background, depending on OS):
To show nearby users, distance, live map, and “who crossed you” style features.
Photos / Media / Camera:
To let you upload profile photos, reels, and other media.
Notifications:
To notify you about matches, messages, likes, and important account events.
You can control or revoke these permissions at any time from your device settings. Some features may not work properly without the relevant permission.
We keep your information:
For as long as your account is active; and
For a reasonable time afterward for safety, security, fraud prevention, and legal reasons (for example, to handle abuse reports, enforce bans, or comply with retention requirements).
Examples:
Profile and match/chat data are kept while your account is active.
After deletion, we may retain limited logs, payment records, and records of serious abuse (e.g., fraud, harassment, illegal content) as required or permitted by law.
Content that other users have received (e.g., messages already delivered) may remain in their account even after you delete your own account.
Account deletion
You can request to delete your account from within the App (where available) or by emailing us at miloai491@gmail.com from the same email/phone associated with your account.
After verifying your identity, we will delete or anonymize your profile data and associated content, subject to any legal or safety retention obligations.
Depending on your country or region, you may have some or all of the following rights:
Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: request deletion of your data, subject to legal or legitimate retention needs.
Restriction / Objection: object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.
Consent withdrawal: where processing is based on consent (e.g., location or certain analytics/ads), you can withdraw that consent by changing your device/app settings or contacting us.

You can also:
Turn off some notifications in your device or in-app settings
Change or remove profile information from within the App
Revoke permissions (location, camera, photos) in your device settings
Milo.AI is strictly for users who are 18 years or older.
We do not knowingly allow under-18 users to create accounts.
If you believe that a minor is using the App, or that we have collected information from someone under 18, please contact us at miloai491@gmail.com.
We will investigate and take appropriate action, including removing the account where required.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including:
Encryption in transit (e.g., HTTPS)
Access controls and authentication on our databases
Limited access to personal data by authorized personnel only
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials secure.
Our service providers (such as Firebase / Google Cloud, AdMob, media CDNs) may process your data on servers located in different countries (for example, India, the European Union, or the United States).
By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections consistent with this Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will post the latest version at this same URL and update the “Effective date” at the top.
If we make material changes, we may also provide a notice in the App or via email, as appropriate.
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
