millybonkmaps Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
millybonkmaps is a field map app for PDF maps and GPS. This policy explains what information the app accesses, collects, uses, and shares. We have no accounts, servers, ads, or analytics.
Location The app accesses and collects your device's precise location (GPS). It uses your location to:
show your position on a map
drop a pin where you are standing
record a walked line or area
When you start a walk, the app keeps recording your location while the screen is locked or you switch apps. A notification stays on screen the whole time. Recording stops when you Save, Discard, or leave Walk. Location is not collected when you are not using these features.
Your location stays on your phone. It is not uploaded to us, not sold, and not shared with anyone. It stays in the app until you delete the layer or uninstall the app. It leaves your phone only if you choose to export or share a file.
Satellite map
Satellite view downloads map photos, roads, and place names from Esri (ArcGIS) for the area on your screen. Those requests include the map area you are viewing. Areas you save are kept on your phone only.
Bluetooth GPS
On Android, subscribers can connect a Bluetooth GPS receiver. The location it sends stays on your phone.
Photos
Subscribers can attach a photo to a pin from the camera or photo library. The app may add the pin's location to that photo. Photos stay on your phone unless you export or share them.
Maps and measurements
Your PDF maps, layers, pins, and measurements are stored on your phone. Subscriber exports are saved to a folder you can see in Files (Downloads / Millybonk Maps). If you share a file, it goes only where you send it.
Purchases
Tips and subscriptions are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. Your subscription status is stored on your phone.
No tracking
The app does not use advertising IDs, analytics, or third-party trackers.
Children
The app is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
