Our Town

Milltown, Indiana
The town of Milltown was originally incorporated in 1839 and was built around the local mill from which we gained our name. Our community is nestled along the beautiful Blue River lining both Crawford and Harrison Counties and weaving 57 miles through southern Indiana. Our little community has many unique staples- the Shoe Tree, Maxine's Market and, of course, Cave Country Canoes!
The Milltown Festival was originally started in 1922, while not continuous, we strive to make this an exciting event for Milltown and the surrounding communities by offering free concerts, games, fireworks, parade, and vendors. Our goal is to bring people together and show everyone that Milltown is a community were we can live, work, and play TOGETHER!
