Rules of Our Private Beach

So that all of our neighbors and friends may enjoy the beauty and tranquility of our beachfront community, we ask all members to please abide by the following rules regarding use of the beach:

• The beach and access to the beach are maintained through membership dues.  Only members in good standing, who have paid their yearly dues, are permitted to use the private beach. Any guests using the beach must be accompanied by a paid member in good standing.

• Beach entry gate code sharing is prohibited. Members who share their code with individuals outside of our community and/or community members not in good standing, may have their HOA privileges revoked.

• Please be prepared to show your valid, current beach pass and identify yourself if asked to do so.

• The beach and access areas are private - year-round, 24 hours a day and all rules apply at all times.

• Please leave only footprints...place all trash in the garbage bins on the beach or at the top of the stairs. If you see trash, help pick it up so that we can all enjoy our shared space.

• Lifeguards are on duty only on specific days of the week during the season.  Swimming outside the designated area is at your own risk.  If no lifeguard is present on a particular day, all swimming is at your own risk.

• All boats and other water vehicles (jet skis, etc.) must be at least 200 feet from any roped areas.

• THE CLIFFS ARE OFF LIMITS at all times.  Using the cliffs as an access to or exit from the beach is strictly prohibited.

• Please clean up after your pets and make sure they are always leashed.

• As indicated by town officials and the local fire department, open fires of any kind are prohibited. This includes but is not limited to beach fires, fire  pits, bonfires, makeshift grills, and fireworks.

  In order to maintain the safety and comfort of everyone, it is the responsibility of all community members to ensure that these rules are adhered to.  If you notice an infraction at any time, please remind the persons involved of the guidelines of our private beach.  Thank you!
