"Dictum Meum Pactum".
I am a highly skilled applied econometrician and economic data scientist. I hold dual Ph.D. degrees from American & European doctoral programs (US: Economics & Econometrics; Europe: Banking, Finance, & Financial Markets). I have tremendous fluency in the techniques of modern machine learning and data science (M.S. in Applied Bayesian Statistics & Probability Theory).
Dissertation Committee:
Jeremy Groves (Thesis Advisor), Carl Campbell III (Co-Advisor), Alex Garivaltis (Thesis Reviewer), Maria Ponomareva (Thesis Reviewer), Lelys Bravo De Guenni (External Reviewer), Moorad Choudhry (External Reviewer).
Statistics M.S. Committee: Duchwan Ryu (Thesis Advisor), Alan Polansky (Co-Advisor), Chaoxiong (Michelle) Xia (Thesis Reviewer).
I combine rigorous econometric identification with modern machine learning, applied across economics and finance, to build interpretable tools for real-world risk, pricing, and policy problems. This dual training lets me move fluidly between structural reasoning and computation.
I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Valparaiso University, Indiana, U.S. (Jan 2021 - May 2021), and an Economics Instructor at Tennessee Tech University, TN, U.S. (Aug 2021 - May 2022). I am currently an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Finance Academic Group at Northeastern University, MA, U.S. My teaching portfolio spans general economics courses, applied finance electives, and technically rigorous graduate coursework in quantitative methods (economics, finance, econometrics). I'm driven by theory, algorithms, and applications.
I will be available for interviews at the 2027 ASSA/AEA Annual Meeting (January 3–5, 2027, Washington, DC) and at the European Job Market for Economists (EJME, virtual, December 14–17, 2026).
