Milind Shah received the B.E. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Mumbai in 1990, the M.Tech. degree in electronics engineering from the Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur (i.e., VNIT-Nagpur) in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2008.
He is working as Dean (Academics) at Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT), Navi Mumbai, and as Professor and Head in the electronics and telecommunication engineering (EXTC) department. He is appointed as a Member – Board of Studies in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering by the University of Mumbai till 31st August 2022.
Before joining FCRIT he worked as a Scientist/Engineer at ISRO, Bangalore, and as a Lecturer at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere.
His research interests are speech and signal processing. He has a number of publications in national & international conferences & journals including the one in the IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing. He is a fellow of the IETE and the Institution of Engineers (India), a senior member of the IEEE, and a life member of the ISTE and the Acoustic Society of India. He worked as Chairman of the IETE Navi Mumbai Center from July-2014 to June 2016.
