Hello! I am a PhD Candidate at Colorado State University and a Feminist Economics Graduate Fellow. I am currently a Carlo Schmid Fellow in the World Bank Women, Business & the Law team.

My research fields are macroeconomics and monetary economics, international and development economics, and gender and political economy. Specifically, I study how macroeconomic policies that are often treated as distributionally neutral, such as external debt servicing and monetary tightening, produce unequal outcomes for women and men in Global South economies. I have also published work on methodology and history of economic thought. 

I  have several semesters of teaching experience and aim to make economics relevant to students from diverse backgrounds and with different interest. I have for example received a curriculum innovation grant to integrate the climate crisis into Principles of Macroeconomics and have published a paper on the diversity of introductory philosophy of economics syllabi.
