The Torrey family has embarked on an adventure like none other. Converting an old, run down, abandoned beach house into a beach home that we can share.

In 2022, as we were leaving the beach after an amazing week on Cottage Row we did NOT want to leave. That week was special, where the magic of the OBX fills you to your core. So of course I'm scouring Zillow, looking for our diamond in the rough. And boy was it ever. And we're still polishing! For now, it has its old beach cottage rustic exterior with a completely remodeled interior.

Mile High Tide is located in Kill Devil Hills at MP 6.25 with incredibly easy access to the 5th St entrance. Beach is only a two minute walk away. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2000 sf home is within walking distance to Avalon Pier, Awful Arthur's, The Jolly Roger, Wawa's, and Target!

And did we mention the waves?! 5th Street has one of the best breaks in KDH.

Upper Level - Kitchen, sitting area, Master bedroom with king and en suite bathroom, bedroom with queen bunk bed and private bath entrance

Lower Level - Sunroom, family room, two bedrooms (1 queen bunk bed and 1 king), with shared large jack and jill bathroom

Ground Level - Tiki bar, storage room with bikes, boards, chairs, tents, and extra fridge, plenty of parking
