Piazza Della Scala

Piazza della Scala is a central square connected to the main square of Milan, Piazza del Duomo, by the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II passage and it was inaugurated in 1858. This pedestrian square was named after the church which was built there and Teatro della Scala now names the eponymous square, Piazza della Scala.
