As the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science (MyDLIS), University of Mysore, enters its Diamond Jubilee Year, we proudly inaugurate our celebrations with a National symposium that highlights six decades of scholarly pursuit, innovation, and service to the LIS profession.
The symposium, themed “Turning Pages and Beyond: Recalibrating Librarianship for a Connected and Creative World”, will explore the changing paradigms of librarianship in a digital and interconnected era. It offers a platform for LIS educators, professionals, researchers, and students to discuss challenges and opportunities, inspired by emerging technologies and societal needs.
