The Workshop "Condensed Matter Highlights" aims at bringing together the experimental and theoretical researchers of the Condensed Matter Physics group of the Physics Department of the University of Milan.

The Workshop is thought as a platform to present the highlights of the different research lines, favoring the exchanges and the interactions in our Department and offering to students and researchers from other institutions a wide perspective of the rich experimental and theoretical activity performed in our group on topics related to Condensed Matter Physics.

The fifth edition has been conceived with a format that combines together:

• Invited talks given by four esteemed researchers, two theoretical and two experimental, presenting state of the art research topics and industry perspectives.

• Short contributed talks focused on the research lines present in our groups.

• Poster session and informal meeting intended to give to PhD and master thesis students the possibility to present their work and to favor the interactions between the students and the researchers/professors.

• "Info points" where students can meet the researchers and professors of the group.
