Welcome to my website! My name is Mikita Zhylinski, and I am a 6th-year PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Illinois-Chicago, I am on the job market for the fall 2025 - spring 2026 recruiting cycle.

My research interests are primarily in Labor and Urban Economics. More specifically, I am interested in modeling employment spillover patterns and identifying the temporal dynamics of labor market response to economic shocks.
