Mikhail Oshmakashvili

I am a third-year PhD student in Economics at Bocconi University. My research interests are international trade and macroeconomics. I obtained MSc in Economics at KU Leuven. I also hold a double degree BSc in Economics from the Higher School of Economics and University Pompeu Fabra. 

From the 2023-2024 academic year, I work as a teaching assistant at Bocconi University for the "Foundations of Economics (Macroeconomics)" and the "International Economics and Finance" courses.

I was a research assistant to Professor Sergey Kokovin at the “Center for Market Studies and Spatial Economics”. I also worked as a teaching assistant in Introductory Economics, Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 at the Higher School of Economics.
