#2 Covid 19 Dataset cleaning with SQL and Data Exploratory Analysis

The data cleaning and analysis was carried out on SQL MS Server, and the visualization was done on Tableau.

The following exploratory analysis were carried out after data cleaning:

-- Looking at Total Cases vs Total Deaths

-- Shows likelihood of dying if you contract covid in your country

-- Total Cases vs Population

-- Shows what percentage of population infected with Covid

-- Countries with Highest Infection Rate compared to Population

-- Countries with Highest Death Count per Population

-- Showing contintents with the highest death count per population

-- Total Population vs Vaccinations

-- Shows Percentage of Population that has recieved at least one Covid Vaccine

-- Using CTE to perform Calculation on Partition By in previous query

-- Using Temp Table to perform Calculation on Partition By in previous query

-- After analysis I created Views to store data for later visualizations.

Techathon is an open-source tech educational forum who seasonally admits and trained groups of individuals who are passionate about migrating into tech. I was admitted learning data analytics, at the end I did a personal project and also a group project, where I was appointed the group team lead.

We were tasked with the responsibility to build a social media platform that would help business integrade all the social media platforms into one user interface. Then we built Synkify.

- Synkify is a social media platform that helps business owners and social media managers synchronize all their social media platforms into one platform, to enable them to reach all their customers on various social media platforms with a single post.

The following are the things I did as data analyst team lead and overall team lead:

• Collected survey data, cleaned, modeled, and analyzed data with Excel, visualized data with Tableau, and built reports on PowerPoint about our competitors, their coverage, their annual income, their advantages, their disadvantages etc.

• Led the team and successfully developed a Social Media Management Tool platform called SYNKIFY.

• Made presentations to the project board.
