In a typical wedding scenario, I might be asked to play 3 sets of acoustic music ranging between 30 and 50 minutes in length to align with the schedule for the evening. This could include one set during a cocktail hour and a few sets inside during meals or between speeches.
If the guests start indicating that they are ready for some dance tunes, then I can easily put down the guitar and start DJing recorded music until the close of the night.
For a wedding of this nature, I charge between $1150 and $1300. The pricing of each event varies depending on the location and length of time in which you would like me to play.
Some couples also like to opt for some light music at the ceremony and a special song for the walking of the aisle. For this inclusion, I generally charge an extra $100 - $150.
If you are looking to maintain an easy-listening and relaxed environment throughout then I would recommend acoustic music for the entire evening.
I am based in Clifton Springs, Vic, so travel time and accommodation may be a necessary additional cost to your total fee.
I also respectfully ask that a meal and a few drinks be provided at some point during the night to keep me going. I have no dietary requirements!
