Species I am currently working with:
These are the classic blue poison dart frogs. They are large (1.5 - 2 inches), bold, showy, and fun to watch. Great beginner frog. Should be kept solo or in pairs only as adults.
Both parents are from Understory Enterprises in Canada.
Offspring tend to have a wide variation in size/number of spots and intensity of blueness.
Thumbnail dart frogs. Extremely beautiful with amazing colors. Somewhat shy, but will often be visible throughout the day especially when feeding.
Supposedly can be kept in groups, but I recommend keeping in pairs to avoid any fighting.
Lineage is from Understory Enterprises, via Ruffing's Ranitomeya.
Offspring vary greatly in terms of patterning and coloration. Ranging from orange-red to golden (torso) and grey to green to blue (legs).
Thumbnail dart frogs. Relatively bold for thumbnails. They have a loud call that I find very pleasant and enjoy listening to them calling in the morning and afternoon. My personal favorites due to their combination of small size and big personalities.
Must be kept solo or in pairs to avoid aggression.
Lineage is from Understory Enterprises: mother is directly from UE and father is from Josh's Frogs
Offspring coloration varies from yellow-green to gold-orange.
