What is Mike's Dead Formats? 

A new modern online company for selling vintage collectibles and antiques. Mike's Dead Formats uses Social Media to engage customers within pop culture communities to build niche markets. Within these markets we use specialized marketing to connect merchandise with collectors. We are also owners of the trademarks for LJN, Galoob, and the vintage cartoon animation company Filmation and sell merchandise with these marks on various print on demand web companies. 

What made you start Mike's Dead Formats? 

Our love for 70's,80's & 90's pop culture and the innocence of that entertainment along with all the branded collectibles from our past brought such a nostalgic rush to our lives we started to share it with like minded people all over the world.  This nostalgic rush has led to a social media and e-Commerce presence that can be found by just using the hashtag #mikesdeadformats .

What shows can I see you?

We attend and sell at a few shows on the east coast of Florida depending on our schedule. The best option is to follow us on social media by following the hashtag #mikesdeadformats or save our link tree here.

You posted something on your social media I am very interested in? 

Make us an offer, usually everything is for sale. We love connecting collectors with items for their collections. 

What do you sell on your eBay store?

We sell mostly vintage collectables that have gone "dead" but we also list reissues of toys line by MEGO, DC or Marvel comics. Our goal is to make those "dead formats" live again so we even list DVD, VHS, CDs, Video games, 8-tracks, cassette tapes, records, vintage shirts and sports cards. 

Why did you make this website? 

We wanted to make sure everything was connected, so our followers would be able to access our marketplaces, and other social links in one place. This is to ensure that our followers wouldn't need to go searching to find us online. 

Do you buy collections?

Yes, we do. But it does depend on the products, their condition and resale value. We will always be fair with you regardless and even point you in the right direction to get the best value.
