Please review the following policies before submitting a repair/sell request.

Mail-in repairs available nationwide.
Diagnostic Policy
All devices undergo diagnostics before repair work begins.
A diagnostic fee applies only if:
The device is confirmed repairable
The issue is identified
The customer chooses to not proceed
If a device is deemed non-repairable, no diagnostic fee is charged.
Diagnostic fees are applied towards the repair total if the repair is approved.
Most completed repairs include a 30-day limited warranty covering the specific component repaired.
Warranty does not apply if:
Device is opened after repair
Physical damage occurs after repair
Liquid damage occurs after repair
Additional modification attempts are made
Power surges or external damage occur
Warranty covers only the repaired fault - not unrelated future failures.
Liquid Damage & Corrosion
Devices with liquid damage or corrosion are repair attempt only.
Severe corrosion may:
Require extended diagnostic time
Result in partial repair
Be deemed non-repairable
Liquid damage repairs are not guaranteed due to unpredictable nature of corrosion.
Devices containing active or visible pest infestation (including roaches, eggs, or debris) are not automatically accepted.
I reserve the right to refuse service on pest-infested devices to prevent contamination of tools and workspace.
If service is accepted:
An additional cleaning & containment fee will apply
Professional-grade cleaning and decontamination will be required
Repair window extends to 2-3 additional business days
Severe infestations may still be deemed non-repairable
Customers will be notified before any additional fees are applied.
Previously Opened/Modified Devices
Devices that have been:
Previously repaired
Modified
Attempted DIY repairs
May require additional diagnostic time and may incur additional cost.
Hidden damage from prior work is not the responsibility of Mike's Retro Game Console Repairs.
Data Responsibility
Customers are responsible for backing up and protecting their data prior to repair.
Data loss is rare but possible during hardware repairs.

Cash App
Venmo
Cash (local pickup only)
Payment is due upon repair completion prior to device return.
Right to Refuse Services
I reserve the right to refuse services for any device that:
Presents biohazard or infestation risk
Has severe structural damage
Has excessive corrosion
Poses risk to equipment or workspace
Customers will be informed promptly if service is declined.
