This is year 40 for me and I like teaching as much as I did my first year back in 1985! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Anderson University in Indiana, a Master's Degree in Exceptional Child Education from WKU, and a Rank 1 in School Administration from WKU. I have taught most grades as either a classroom teacher or a special education teacher in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I also served as an elementary principal for ten years and as a district administrator for 10 years. I feel like I have made a complete circle back to TES as I started teaching here in 1989 as a 2nd/3rd grade teacher.
I live in Tompkinsville with my wife, Ruby and kids, Dailey, Karley, and Kynley. I am a traveler, reader, and gardener. I am a deacon at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church and stay active with a variety of programs with the church.
I am very excited about being at TES for another year! The students and I will work hard to meet and exceed their goals this year! This is going to be the best year ever!!!
