Lessons

Lesson fees are payable at the first lesson each month. I accept cash, personal checks, or VENMO. 

The fees are as follows:

$85 per 45 minutes 

$100 per hour

If something comes up and you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please do so by phone or by text 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. If rescheduling is impossible, the fee for the missed lesson will be applied to the following month’s charges. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, or if a lesson is missed without any notice, money will not be refunded.  

In order to help a student most effectively, I require my students to purchase music, method books, and solos based on their ability level, study tools (metronome, tuner, lesson/practice notebook), and to keep their instruments in proper working order (valves oiled, slides greased, pipes clean, etc.). In addition, I may also request materials such as recordings, breathing tools, mutes, books, etc. based on the student’s particular needs and/or interests.

Please note:  Any communications through this website, regarding lessons, is for private instruction booked directly with me.  If you contact me through one of the organizations with whom I am affiliated, by contractual obligation, I must offer lessons solely with the organization through whom we were initially connected.
