Director's Bio
I was born in Orlando, Florida and grew up visiting the Disney parks, which ignited my interest in the animation medium, before eventually moving to New Hampshire. Pursuing art was always going to be my priority when it came to choosing a career, and by the time I entered senior year, I had worked on every art medium but still wasn't satisfied with my goals. The only thing I still hadn't done was animation, and it was this moment when I realized what I wanted to pursue after graduating high school.
Animation has always been my number one passion and dream career ever since I was a kid.Â
I've been drawing non-stop since I first learned to pick up a pencil. It's inspiring to see animation be able to tell stories in ways that can't be done in real life, and watching animated series and movies as an adult allowed me to take in how well-written and mature they really are. I'm especially interested in both 2D and stylized 3D animation for their ability to mix in modern technology and classic styles reminiscent of the rubber-hose eras. The rise of indie animated series has also been so inspiring to me because if an ordinary person could write a compelling story that's adored by everyone while pushing the boundaries, so can I.
