MiKaya the Messenger is a Detroit-based poet, licensed massage therapist, and event producer who creates spaces for connection and creativity through her platform Wine & Write.

In just two years, she has risen quickly, becoming the 2025 Motown Mic Spoken Word winner and using her voice to transform pain into purpose—making her more than a poet, but an experience.
