My name is Mikaël Touati, I am a research scientist at Orange Labs the innovation entity of Orange, a French telecommunication operator.
After receiving a BSc in physics (rank 1st) from University Aix-Marseille Luminy, a master’s degree in physics from University Pierre and Marie Curie, I obtained an engineering degree and a MSc (SEE André Blanc Lapierre awards) from Ecole CentraleSupélec in 2013 and a PhD in algorithmic game theory entitled Cooperative Games and Stable Matchings in Networks from Telecom ParisTech in 2016. In 2019, with Richard Combes, we have been awarded the ACM Sigmetrics best paper award for our paper Computationally Efficient Estimation of the Spectral Gap of a Markov Chain.
At Orange, I take part in a research team and projects developing new methods and tools for analyzing decision-taking processes using mathematics, computer science & AI.
My current research focuses on game theory (theoretical & algorithmic). I am also very interested in topology, manifolds and general relativity.
