I’m a professional Researcher from South Korea and working and living also in South Korea. I majored in statistical physics and have studied the network science and complex systems together.

I would like to understand underlying mechanism leading to emergent patterns from collective behaviors around us. To explore the mechanism, I have tried to establish plausible theoretical models in which essential features are reflected, and felt keenly the necessity of comparing results obtained from the models with the relevant real data. That is because the models may be unconvincing however plausible the models look apparently, if one cannot assure that the results from the models are observed also in real world. Therefore, as implementing that kind of research, I have believed the importance of the comparison between the theory and the real data as an evidence to complementarily support each other, and there is no relationship of superiority between them. So I have tried to carry out my research in both sides.
