Associate Professor at the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Tartu.

My research develops logical and computational theory for understanding dependencies in data. In particular, I study how dependencies and constraints shape reasoning, query evaluation, and computational complexity.

Received a PhD in mathematical logic at the University of Helsinki in 2015. Worked as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the School of Computer Science of the University of Auckland in 2015-18.  Since 2024 in Tartu.
