Brief bio:

In 2012, I received two Diplomas (equivalent B.Sc .+ M.Sc.) in Mathematics and Industrial/Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC - BarcelonaTech), focusing on control theory. In 2013, a M.Sc. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, focusing on optimization and statistical/machine learning.

From 2013 to 2016, first I worked at Accenture Analytics as a data scientist consultant, and later I founded Arcvi, a data analytics consultancy firm. I used data mining and machine learning to for advance analytics & strategy consulting, with clients in several industries (telecom, banking, insurance, energy, retail, social media, etc.)

In 2016 I started my PhD as researcher at General Electric (GE) Global Research in Munich, within the Marie-Curie INCITE-ITN network, and enrolled at TU Delft, under the supervision of Adolfo Anta (GE) and Bart de Schutter (TU Delft). 

In 2019 I transferred to IfA - Automatic Control Lab at ETH Zurich, where I continue my PhD under the supervision of Florian Dörfler, and participate in the Renewable Management and Real-Time Control Platform (ReMaP) project of the Energy Science Center at ETH Zurich. In March 2022 I successfully defended my PhD!
