Teaching Philosophy:
My belief is that through a process-oriented practice, developing facility and technical ability on our instruments can unlock musical- and self-expression that deepens our lives. In my teaching, I incorporate a disciplined but holistic approach that guides students to a better understanding of their instruments, their music, and themselves.
Private Lessons
I am currently teaching in-person in the greater Pittsburgh area, and online over zoom.
Rates are determined by lesson length and location
Lesson duration and rate are individually discussed with each student (and family)
I primarily teach trombone and euphonium students

We will discuss method books and exercises on a case by case basis.
Common resources will include books by Brad Edwards, Arban, Bordogni, Cimera, and Tyrell
