Miguel Lorca

Ph.D. in Economics from the University of New South Wales (UNSW, Sydney, Australia),  and Master and B.A. degree in Economics from the Universidad de Chile. 

My research interests are in the fields of Microeconometrics, Education, Pension System, Labor Market and Productivity. My research applies a combination of economic theory, optimization modeling, and estimation methods, with a focus on social problems and policy implications. 

I  have published in the Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Journal of Risk and Insurance, Journal of Applied Economics, Applied Economic Analysis, Economics of Disasters, and Climate Change, among others. 

Teaching experience at both UNSW Business School and Universidad de Chile.
